At Hampers for Him, we take pride in carefully preparing and packaging every gift hamper. We want you and your recipient to be delighted with your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

Returns & Refunds Policy

Change of Mind

Due to the nature of our products, we are generally unable to accept returns for change of mind once an order has been dispatched.

If you wish to cancel or modify an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to assist if your order has not yet been processed or shipped.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, contains a faulty product, or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the damaged, faulty, or incorrect item(s)
  • Photographs of the packaging if damage occurred during transit

Upon review, we may offer:

  • A replacement item
  • A replacement hamper
  • A store credit
  • A refund where appropriate

The remedy provided will comply with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Products Covered by Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

You are entitled to a replacement, refund, repair, or compensation if a product:

  • Is faulty or defective
  • Is not of acceptable quality
  • Does not match its description
  • Is not fit for its intended purpose

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Perishable Food and Beverage Products

Many items included in our hampers are food and beverage products.

For health, safety, and quality control reasons, we cannot accept returns of:

  • Opened food products
  • Consumed food products
  • Opened beverages
  • Products damaged due to incorrect storage after delivery

If a food or beverage product arrives damaged, spoiled, or unfit for consumption, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can investigate and provide an appropriate resolution.

Alcohol Products

Where alcohol is included in a hamper:

  • Alcohol cannot be returned due to change of mind.
  • Alcohol products must not be purchased by or supplied to persons under 18 years of age.
  • Refunds or replacements for alcohol products will only be provided where required under Australian Consumer Law or where the product arrives damaged or faulty.

Proof of age may be required upon delivery.

Delivery Issues

Incorrect Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

If an incorrect address is supplied:

  • Additional redelivery charges may apply.
  • Refunds will not be available for orders delivered to the address provided at checkout.

Failed Delivery Attempts

If a recipient is unavailable and a courier leaves a card or redirects a parcel to a collection point, it becomes the responsibility of the recipient to collect the order within the courier’s specified timeframe.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Please allow:

  • 3–10 business days for processing by your financial institution
  • Additional time depending on your bank or payment provider

Shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the issue was caused by our error or a product fault.

Custom and Personalised Hampers

Custom-made and personalised hampers are created specifically for each order.

Unless required by Australian Consumer Law, we cannot offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect selections made by the customer
  • Personalisation errors provided by the customer during checkout
